Benefits of positive visualizations

Evidence that visualizations can help healing is well documented. Creating an inner vision offers the mind major advantages:
Your muscles experience electrical impulses that correspond to the physical event you are imagining and neuromuscular templates are developed preparing you physiologically for the real thing. Which means, for example, if you are imagining yourself kicking the rugby ball exactly through the polls your brain will create muscle memory just as good as if you were actually doing it, with the added benefit of leaving the failure out of equation, increasing confidence as well as efficient positive muscle memory.

The relaxation response is exactly the opposite of the stress response in our body.
When we experience a physical or mental stress our body produces "chemistry" to enable us to fight or to run away.

Why holistic treatments?

We are more than our physical body. That is why I offer holistic treatments at Balance for life. I would like to explain a little bit more about my view of holistic health and I would love to hear from you and what you think about that.
Our body follows the mind every second, every moment we make decisions, decisions about how this feels in relation to you and the sum of your experiences. The body creates the chemistry to fit those thoughts. What if we constantly willingly or unwillingly surround ourselves with people or situations that we find challenging and stressful in some way, triggering emotions like anger, fear, sadness.
